Prof. Ibrahim Abdulhalim
Founder & CEO
Professor Ibrahim Abdulhalim holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. and D.Sc. in Physics from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Ibrahim conducted his research fellow at University of Colorado - Boulder, and ORC - Southampton University.

Professional experience includes being a Lecturer at The University Of Western Scotland as well as working across several tech companies for 13 years including KLA-Tencor, GWS Photonics, NOVA and others.

Since 2005 he is a professor at the Department of Electrooptic and Photonics Engineering at BGU University in Israel and acted as the head of the department for 8 years. He is conducting applied research in liquid crystal devices, plasmonic sensors and imaging systems.​ In 2014 he founded the company Photonicsys, Ltd., specializing in developing miniature surface plasmon resonance biosensors and in 2019 he founded PhotoLiqSys, Ltd.

Over the course of his career, he published more than 250 papers, 10 book chapters and owns over 20 patents.
Dr. Marwan Abuleil
R&D Manager
Dr. Marwan Abuleil has B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from BGU, M.Sc. and PhD in Electrooptic Engineering at BGU specializing in liquid crystal devices for photonic applications.
