Multispectral Tunable Filter

Liquid crystal multispectral tunable filter can tune between large number of spectral bands over wideband such as VIS+NIR and the whole SWIR range and can be designed and built to operate in the midIR as well. The spectral band can be as narrow as 1nm or less depending on the distance between them. Such a filter is preferable over continuous LCTF as it gives larger light throughput of narrow bands, faster speed and more compact. It can be useful for multispectral imaging for variety of applications: medical diagnostics, industrial processes monitoring, agriculture, remote sensing and more.
